# Skill Archive & Skill Tree

The Skill Archive is your farming talent hub. It allows you to spend your hard-earned Elysium on permanent perks, expand your Growstation and Bush limits, and boost your agricultural yields.

### Crafting & Placement

* **Crafting:** Craft the Skill Archive in a standard crafting table using a Lectern in the center, surrounded by Lettuce in the four corners and Tomatoes on the top, bottom, left, and right sides. Follow the exact placement formation shown in the recipe picture.
* **Forming the Tree:** Place the block on the ground in an open area and click it to form your physical Skill Tree.
* **Relocating:** You can break and relocate your Skill Archive at any time for free without losing progression. Always ensure there is enough physical room around the block so the tree can spawn or expand.

### Navigating the Skill Tree

Right-clicking your placed Skill Archive opens the Farming Skills interface.

Click the book icon next to the Nether Star to cycle between the 4 skill categories:

* Plants: Upgrades boosting Growstations and custom plants.
* Bushes: Perks expanding bush capacity and passive income.
* Crops: Yield, XP, and growth bonuses for custom crops.
* Vanilla: Enhancements for classic vanilla Minecraft farming.

### Skill Types: Permanent vs. Non-Permanent

Skills within each category are split into two distinct formats:

* **Non-Permanent Skills (Crates / Items):** Standard talent nodes that boost limits and stats. Unactivated skills appear `coal`, and once activate them, they turn into `Emeralds`. These can be reset and refunded at any time.
* **Permanent Skills (Ore Blocks):** Displayed as `Obsidian Block` . Once activated, they transform into glowing `Emerald Blocks`. These are permanent account unlocks and cannot be refunded or reset once purchased.

### Upgrading the Tree Tier

Higher-tier talents require a higher Tree Level to unlock. The tree has 4 levels total.

* **How to Upgrade:** Click the Nether Star in the bottom-left corner of the menu.
* Level 2 Requirements:
  * Farming Level: 25
  * Elysium Cost: 50,000
  * Required Crops: 16 Lettuce, 5 Jalapeno
  * Space: Adequate physical clearance around the tree structure in the world.

### Resetting Skills

Want to change your build or reclaim your Elysium? You can respec at no cost.

* **How to Reset:** Click the dark block icon in the bottom-right corner of the menu to reset your skills.
* **Elysium Refund:** You receive 100% of your spent Elysium back instantly.
* **Permanent Skill Rule:** Remember that permanent ore block skills will remain unlocked and are never wiped or refunded.
